School Outreach

Part of our mission is to bring information and educational opportunities to drone flying!

As a part of this goal, we have worked with local high schools to bring in drones, share about our experiences, and to demonstrate the value of getting a drone license and gaining flying skills. In order to accomplish these goals, we have created a PowerPoint presentation outlining both our research, and the larger history of drones and remote sensing. You can see this PowerPoint and get more information about how to share drones with students of all ages through our Education Portal on this site.

We show students not only the kind of work that they can be doing as drone pilots, but also give them the opportunity to engage with the drones as well, and hope to be able to allow students to fly in future visits. 

Featuring Research

We want to feature your research with drones! We believe that the scientific community only grows stronger as we share our projects and the places that they take us.
